What is MapMyTour.com?

MapMyTour.com lets you update a map from the road with the progress of your bike tour, hike, or road trip. All you need is a GPS and access to the internet (e.g., an internet-enabled mobile phone) to add waypoints. Waypoints are added by visiting the "Add Waypoint" page, typing in your coordinates in WGS84 decimal format (e.g., 12.345678, 33.445566), and submitting. Your map is immediately updated for your friends and family to see.

Most pages have been tweaked to work with a mobile browser. However, the only page you need to bookmark for the road is the "Add Waypoint" page (see an example of rendering). Logins are persistent for two weeks, so you don't need to login each time you access the site.

The site is 100% free.
